Job Title: Executive Chef

Big Fat Jerk is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Create new recipes and menus to meet customer demands
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Consult with clients to plan and execute events and functions
Requirements:
  • Cook Trade Certification
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
