About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Smoke Zone. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is always stocked with a wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is always up-to-date and that products are easily accessible to customers.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Assign sales workers to duties, authorize returns, and establish work schedules to ensure that customers receive the best possible service.
  • Training and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Store Operations: Conduct performance reviews, design settings and scenic environments, and plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
