At Mu-Tech, we are seeking a skilled Computer Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert assistance to our clients in resolving computer-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems. You will be responsible for consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions, as well as providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems
  • Consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Providing business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Performing Web-server backup and recovery operations
  • Providing customer service

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, including servers, desktop applications, presentation software, communication software, programming software, mapping and data visualization software, database software, programming languages, software development, and networks. Experience with Python, C++, JavaScript, MS Office, Oracle, SQL, SharePoint, and Visual Basic is an asset.
