Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role assumes the responsibility of Manager on Duty (MOD). Key responsibilities include managing staff, executing daily operational tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service
  • Execute daily operational tasks, including store merchandizing, shelf stocking, and unboxing daily shipments
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues
  • Train, coach, and develop employees to enhance their skills and performance
  • Perform cash management, store opening, and closing duties as needed
  • Assign tasks to the team and ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandizing standards based on company strategy
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the retail industry
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a team management position
  • Open availability required (day, evening, weekend)
  • Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
  • Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
