Global Sales Insights Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Global Sales Insights Specialist to join our team at Skullcandy in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive sales strategies and support operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data across multiple channels (D2C, retail, e-commerce) to track performance and identify trends.
- Build, maintain, and automate sales dashboards and reports to provide visibility into sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze market, competitor, and product performance to identify opportunities and challenges for growth.
- Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to refine sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Assist in developing more accurate sales projections to support inventory and production planning.
- Provide actionable insights on sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and product category performance.
- Identify key sales drivers and potential risks by evaluating channel performance and market dynamics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a sales analysis or similar role, preferably in consumer electronics or retail.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Sisense.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
