About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Swaagat the real taste of India. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Overtime required

Working Conditions:

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
