About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service delivery
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
    • Develop and maintain a positive customer experience, fostering a welcoming environment
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring efficient inventory management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Staffing and Development
    • Hire and train food service staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a coffee shop or restaurant environment, exposed to noise, odors, and varying temperatures
