Radiation Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our radiation therapy program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of radiation therapy
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of radiation oncology
- Contribute to the education and training of radiation oncology residents and fellows
- Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
- Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualification
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism
