Our Cancer Care Network
We have a provincial cancer care network that comprises six regional cancer centres and associated community oncology network clinics. Our team members work collaboratively to provide exceptional care to patients.
Job Summary
We are seeking highly qualified Medical Oncologists to join our team at regional cancer centres and satellite clinics. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be part of a well-established team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists within your selected centre, and more broadly, within the provincial structure for oncology care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch oncology consultation and patient care
- Contribute to teaching and research as part of the interdisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Medical Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
- Eligibility for appointment to the Medical Staff at the hospital affiliated with the chosen regional cancer centre
