Medical Oncologist

About the Role:
We are seeking highly qualified Medical Oncologists to join our team at regional cancer centres and satellite clinics. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be part of a well-established team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists within your selected centre, and more broadly, within the provincial structure for oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing top-notch oncology consultation and patient care
- Teaching and research as part of the interdisciplinary care team
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional cancer care
Requirements:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Medical Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
- Appointment to the Medical Staff at the hospital affiliated with the chosen regional cancer centre
