Job Description:

Fountain Tire seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our in-store team. As an important member of our team, you will exercise good judgment and provide exceptional customer service in a courteous and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Receivables and ensure accurate billing to customers
  • Oversee Vendor Invoices and Inventory items
  • Process Payroll and maintain accurate records
  • Administer Safety protocols and procedures
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Collect outstanding accounts and resolve disputes
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and schedule appointments for tire and mechanical services
  • Support the secretary and counter staff with various duties
  • Maintain a well-organized office filing system

Requirements:

  • Administrative or accounting diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • At least 3 years of administrative support experience in a retail environment
  • Recent payroll experience
  • Automotive industry experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an asset
