We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Hudson Bagels. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Work SettingOur restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
As a Line Cook, you will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. You will also be required to work in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure that all dishes are prepared to our high standards.
Personal SuitabilityWe are looking for a candidate who is a team player, with excellent communication and organizational skills. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
