We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, as well as training and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are meeting the required standards
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are meeting health and safety standards
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are meeting the required standards
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
