Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Profit Centre operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve market share, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a high-performing team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial reports, develop budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and execute marketing plans, manage sales teams, and build relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: College and/or University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with experience in sales and marketing automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the wholesale distribution industry, with knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products.
  • Software Skills: Experience with Trend and Eclipse software systems.
