Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Artisan to join our team at Desi Swag Corporation. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for various baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection, meeting quality and presentation standards.
  • Prepare special orders, including wedding and birthday cakes, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to impress.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
