Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at 5187720 MANITOBA LTD. as a Pastry Artisan. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and operate machinery as needed.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to distinguish between colors, work in a team environment, and maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability.
