Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Pastry Artisan to join our team at Desi Swag Corporation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a variety of sweet and savory baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet customer demand and maintain quality standards.
  • Prepare special orders and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer specifications.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment

Our bakery operates in a restaurant setting, with a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be working in a team to prepare and serve high-quality baked goods to our customers.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in our bakery, and you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in this language.
