Position Overview

Sugar Blooms and Cakes Inc. is seeking a skilled Baker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for baking and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a baking environment.
Work Environment
  • Located in a vibrant bake shop setting.
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various doughs and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, breads, cookies, and cakes.
  • Order and manage inventory of materials and supplies.
  • Oversee the baking process and ensure adherence to recipes.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and baking personnel.
  • Decorate cakes and other baked items to meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas.
  • Operate baking machinery efficiently.
