We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Northumberland Hills Hospital. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ICU/ER department.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU/ER department
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BScN preferred
- Willingness to complete a Critical Care Certificate course within 12 months of hire
- NENA triage certificate preferred
- NRP, PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Previous experience in critical care or emergency nursing
- Minimum 2 years medical surgical experience
