Registered Nurse, Critical Care Float Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Northumberland Hills Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU/ER department
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BScN degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care or emergency setting
- Previous experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a critical care or emergency department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- NENA triage certificate
- NRP certified
- PALS certified
- ACLS certified
- TNCC and ENPC certified
- Previous experience in a critical care or emergency setting, preferably in a hospital setting
