We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our Critical Care department, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Completion of a Critical Care Certificate course within 12 months of hire.
- Experience in a critical care or emergency setting, with a minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
