Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Northumberland Hills Hospital. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BScN preferred
- Willingness to complete a Critical Care Certificate course
- NENA triage certificate preferred
- NRP certified or must obtain within 9 months
- PALS certified or must obtain within 9 months
- BLS certified or must obtain within 9 months
- ACLS certified or must obtain within 9 months
- Previous experience in a critical care or emergency setting
- Minimum 2 years Medical surgical experience
