About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wood Moulder Operator to join our team at FS MILLWORKS LTD. As a Wood Moulder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines to produce high-quality wooden parts.
  • Part Fabrication: Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products according to specifications or verbal instructions.
  • Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend machine lifespan.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are readily available.
Work Environment

As a Wood Moulder Operator at FS MILLWORKS LTD., you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and productivity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, but you will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of woodworking machines and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a focus on standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
