Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Lead to join our team at Gordon Ramsay Burger. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our kitchen operations.
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a high-volume kitchen team to ensure efficient menu item production, maintaining all company and brand standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational excellence and support the overall goals of the restaurant
- Motivate and develop team members to reach their full potential and provide opportunities for growth and advancement
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive culinary experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Proven track record of leadership and supervisory skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, with ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Red Seal certification through ITA or current enrollment in the program an asset
- Food Safety Certification
- Computer literacy in MS Office
