Executive Culinary Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at On & Off Kitchen + Bar.
About the Role:- Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen team, ensuring that all menu items meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. Key responsibilities include estimating costs, supervising staff, planning menus, and recruiting and training new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items;
- Estimate labour costs;
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food;
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff;
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods;
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs;
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards;
- Recruit and hire staff;
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related field;
- Degree or equivalent in culinary arts or hospitality;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
