Job Title: Hotel Front Office Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Office Clerk to join our team at ONTARIO INC.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Front Office Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Customer Service: Investigate complaints and claims, resolve issues, and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

The Hotel Front Office Clerk will work in a hotel environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
