About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Clinical Operations to join our team in Salmon Arm, BC. As a leader in healthcare operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative leadership and management of assigned clinical patient care programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational frameworks for staffing and service delivery that support patient and family-centered care, patient safety, and quality of care.
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve required outcomes and ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, professional, and safety standards.
  • Establish effective administrative systems for maintaining, evaluating, and reporting on the operations of the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with key partners to develop and effectively manage capital and operating budgets that complement strategic directions within existing fiscal constraints.
  • Respond to patient care issues and public concerns in a supportive and goal-oriented manner, facilitating communication to affect positive outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, supplemented by a Master's Degree in health, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years recent, related clinical experience, including five years in a leadership role.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional college or association preferred.
  • The ability to lead people, manage change, develop strategy, and execute on plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A working knowledge of applicable regulations, legislation, and collective agreements.
