About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team as a Casual Nurse Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents by conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring health status, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess residents' health needs and develop personalized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with best practices
• Monitor and document residents' health status and changes in condition
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support
• Educate residents and their families about health conditions and available resources
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M), valid CPR/First Aid certification, and previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics. Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate care are essential qualities for this position.
