Job Summary

The Regional Director of Event Sales is a key member of our team, responsible for driving sales growth and leading a team of event planning professionals. This role requires a unique blend of sales and people management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of event specialists to achieve individual and team sales goals
  • Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
  • Collaborate with HR and other team members to support hiring and training initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between event specialists and operating departments to ensure seamless communication and execution
  • Monitor guest reactions and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and exceed expectations
  • Seek new business opportunities and develop creative solutions to drive sales growth
  • Effectively communicate the vision and goals of the business unit to the team and rally efforts to achieve results
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of event sales experience with a proven track record of sales growth and team leadership
  • Advanced written and spoken French language skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, coach on selling, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Sound financial acumen and ability to think critically in making business decisions
  • College or university graduate in a hospitality-related program
  • Knowledge of menu development and event planning
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
