About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Sales Professional to join our team as an HVAC Territory Representative. This exciting opportunity will enable you to leverage your expertise in mechanical systems and sales to drive growth within the Vancouver island territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with HVAC contractors, end-users, and industry partners, including engineers, architects, and developers.
  • Product Promotion: Strategically promote exclusive equipment manufacturers' products, such as heat pumps, rooftop packages, and VRF systems.
  • Sales Growth: Identify new customers and maintain existing relationships to expand market share in line with company goals.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience selling in the HVAC space, preferably with related mechanical equipment.
  • A thorough knowledge of mechanical products is essential.
  • Post-secondary education (Degree or 2-year diploma) is desired but not required if industry experience is present within the HVAC sector.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Understanding of construction drawings and ability to interpret schedules, specifications, and plans.
  • Positive attitude, excellent attendance, ethical business practices, and reliable teamwork skills.
  • Initiative to prospect for new business with a track record of success managing a key account book of business within a territory.
  • Ability to sell value-proposition and total cost of ownership.
  • Possess people skills to build relationships within the industry – networking is crucial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
