As a Resident Experience Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our residents feel valued, supported, and connected to our community.

The Resident Experience Coordinator is responsible for leading the resident move-in, transfer, and move-out process, ensuring that it meets our organization's high standards. This includes facilitating the application process, providing assistance with accessing financial supports, and introducing residents and their families to our community and its operations.

As a key member of our team, you will also provide social services worker counselling services as required, plan and develop individual social work services and support groups, and engage external resources to meet the identified needs of residents and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the resident move-in, transfer, and move-out process in accordance with our organization's standards
  • Providing social services worker counselling services as required
  • Planning, developing, and implementing individual social work services and support groups
  • Engaging external resources to meet the identified needs of residents and families
  • Supporting residents and families during advanced care planning and treatment plan conversations
  • Providing reporting and analysis to Leadership and Quality Committee

Requirements:

  • Social Services Worker registration per provincial legislation
  • Minimum of three years' experience in healthcare, social services, or related sector
  • Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act and Regulations preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize, plan, and delegate responsibilities
