Senior Accounting Professional

At NSD Accounting, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a permanent opportunity with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting skills and experience working with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks. They will also be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Reconcile accounts
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
Requirements- Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks
