beBee Professionals is seeking a skilled Event Planning Specialist to plan and execute events, including corporate parties, weddings, and other special occasions, in Vancouver, BC.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and coordinate events from conception to execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure successful events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute events that meet client objectives and brand standards.
  • Source and manage vendors, including caterers, florists, and entertainment providers, to ensure high-quality services and products.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, transportation, and accommodations, to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Manage event marketing and promotion, including creating event collateral, social media promotion, and email invitations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in event planning, hospitality, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate or high-end event setting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of event planning software and technology, including CRM systems and event management platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
