Job Description

The Tech Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This includes providing first contact support for end-users, prioritizing incidents, and escalating issues as needed.

  • Provide timely and effective resolution of end-user issues via telephone, web portal, email, and chat.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes.
  • Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable technicians.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Test fixes to ensure incidents have been adequately resolved.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of basic PC computer hardware.
  • Experience with MS-Windows 10 desktop and server operating systems.
  • Able to work regular business hours in our Edmonton office.
