About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Associate to join our team at RONA. As an Administrative Support Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our managers and the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment activities, as well as providing administrative support to our new associates during their onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Support managers and the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment activities, including posting positions, printing resumes, and processing background checks.
    • Support new associate onboarding by helping plan the onboarding session.
    • Provide administrative support with payroll, including processing terminations, creating employee change letters, and collaborating with the Associate Care Center for all documentation.
  • Operations Support
    • Assist leaders with maintaining various schedules and attendance requirements for the site, including schedule availability and reporting for associates, predictive scheduling, and managing scheduling requests.
    • Support a variety of site administrative work, including planning and supporting local community events.
    • As directed, support the leadership team of the distribution centre by generating, distributing, and maintaining business-related reporting.
Requirements
  • College studies in Administration or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience administering confidential staff information, such as personnel records and employment compliance data.
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail.
  • At least 1 year of experience working within a team.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience, including data processing, scheduling, monitoring, and tracking information, as well as using office software.
