Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Walker Industries Holdings Limited is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and education to employees on health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and health within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
