Job Title:

Occupational Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Safety Specialist to join our team at Walker Industries Holdings Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and health
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
