Job Title: Delivery Centre Operations Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to manage our delivery centre operations in Windsor, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our delivery staff, ensuring timely and efficient mail delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and work closely with Route Measurement to optimize delivery routes and establish new delivery services, achieving operational efficiency and meeting service demands.
  • Ensure data integrity in systems, identifying mail volume and labour data, and collaborating with Production Control and Reporting (PC&R) to establish resource requirements by forecasting, controlling, and identifying productivity efficiencies.
  • Monitor and analyze data, reporting on performance and implementing corrective measures to ensure achievement of performance targets.
  • Inspect and audit all aspects of delivery operations to ensure adherence to corporate and legislated regulations and procedures.
  • Direct, coach, and provide guidance to supervisors and employees, oversee staffing, develop objectives, and manage performance, including attendance management and resolving staff issues.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of high school diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a supervisor in collection and delivery/transportation or 4 years' experience managing a team within a unionized environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Other Requirements:

  • Possess a valid permanent driver's license.
  • Have a satisfactory safe driving record per CPC's Driver Safety Program.

Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package.
