Ticket Sales Director

Job Summary
- This is a senior sales leadership role responsible for overseeing the ticket sales function, generating revenue through ticket sales, and building relationships with stakeholders.
About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a professional sports or entertainment environment, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
- The Director, Ticket Sales will be responsible for developing and executing targeted sales strategies, leading and mentoring a team of account executives, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
- The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain composure under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Operations
- Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for season tickets, group tickets, and premium seating.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the ticket sales team.
- Establish a strong sales culture focused on achieving high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Business & Basketball Operations
- Deliver essential business and gameday-related operations.
- Analyze customer data for trends that can guide sales strategies, promotions, and the identification of opportunities for higher levels of customer engagement.
- Work across operations teams to ensure all aspects of gameday or special events are properly prepared and executed.
- Brand
- Perform customer data collection and analysis using CRM tools.
- Build the fan journey from form intake to ticket purchase.
- Community Operations
- Engage the sports, arts, and culture communities creating opportunities for engagement and sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Self-directed certifications in Business, Sales, or Sports Management.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a results-oriented sales environment.
Competencies
- Business planning, project, and time management.
- People management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with Ticketmaster Host/Archtics and CRM software.
Salary
- $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year.
- Commission pay.
