Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified professor to teach Family Dynamics in our Social Work program. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field and at least five years of professional experience working with families. They will also have the ability to demonstrate experience integrating Indigenous knowledge and teaching methods.

Responsibilities:
The Family Dynamics Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum related to family dynamics, including topics such as family systems theory, intergenerational trauma issues, and communication patterns. They will also teach students about the diversity of Canadian families and the pressures they face. Additionally, the professor will provide opportunities for students to reflect on how family life influences development and impacts human service practice.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the Family Dynamics Professor must have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field. They should also have at least five years of professional experience working with families and the ability to demonstrate experience integrating Indigenous knowledge and teaching methods. Proven skills in building student capacity for intercultural understanding, empathy, and mutual respect are also essential. Teaching excellence, including developing culturally appropriate curricula, is required. Finally, the professor must provide evidence of their ability to commit to creating time and space for relationships based on respect as human beings, supporting and embracing differences with kindness, love, and respect.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the value we place on our faculty members.
