About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Simply Fresh. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and portion food items for serving
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
    • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Table Setting and Cleaning
    • Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
    • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
    • Place dishes in storage area
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • Experience an asset
