Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Saint Thomas University. As a key member of our Dining Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare all food items using standardized recipes and procedures, ensuring accurate rotation and storage of food to maintain top quality and freshness.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety standards and regulations, and ensuring stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of each shift.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance as needed, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in food service is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food preparation, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is considered an asset.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
