About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff, to achieve project goals.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project sponsors to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Project Controls: Establish and maintain project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Communication and Reporting: Develop and maintain effective communication plans, including regular project updates, progress reports, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals. Proven experience with project management tools, including MS Project, Asana, or similar software.
