About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brain Injury Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Timmins, ON. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with brain injury to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing individualized support services plans within the home and community for adults with brain injury. This will include assisting individuals with daily living activities, cognitive and problem-solving skills, and community integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized support services plans for adults with brain injury
  • Provide assistance with instrumental activities of daily living, cognitive and problem-solving skills, and community orientation
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Post-secondary education in Human or Social Services, or a related field
  • A minimum of three years' experience working in the human services field, preferably with people with acquired brain injury
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
