Oakville Market is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Supervise other workers
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
Requirements
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other computer applications
