Job Summary:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems of varying complexity levels.
  2. Troubleshoot customer concerns over inbound phone calls and provide timely and effective solutions.
  3. Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
  4. Maintain accurate records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations to resolve problems or provide technical assistance and support.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English and French language skills are mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in browser troubleshooting practices.
  • Knowledge of computer software, including configuration management software, desktop communications software, and operating system software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a help desk or contact center environment.
  • Technical help desk experience.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Empathy, finesse, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Education:

A college or university degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
