Technical Support Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. as a Help Desk Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, resolving complex technical issues, and maintaining accurate records of daily data communication transactions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, or in-person, resolving technical issues of varying complexity.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns, identifying and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
- Maintain accurate records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
**Requirements:**
- Fluent English and French language skills are mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, with a strong background in technical support.
- 1-3 years of experience in browser troubleshooting practices.
- Knowledge of computer software, including configuration management software, desktop communications software, and operating system software.
**Nice to Have:**
- Previous experience in a help desk or contact center environment.
- Technical help desk experience.
**Soft Skills:**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Empathy, finesse, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
**Education:**
A college or university degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical help desk experience, with excellent language proficiency and a customer-centric approach.
