Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Holland Motor Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Information Provision: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
