Job Title: Guest Service Assistant Manager

At Canad Inns Destination Centre Club Regent Casino Hotel, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Guest Service Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Guest Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless operations, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the management of the front desk, including checking in and checking out guests, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues related to room keys or access.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Guest Services department, including managing staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist in the training and development of Guest Services staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control the Guest Services budget, ensuring that expenses are managed effectively and that the department is operating within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance, to ensure that all areas of the hotel are running smoothly and that guests are receiving exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Guest Services or Front Office role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and other departments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
