Director, Business Development

The Director Business Development is responsible for generating new business opportunities through the creation of compelling and strategic proposals, presentations, and client entry strategies. This is an independent contributor role.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Proposal Development: Create and present proposals that showcase our company's expertise and value proposition.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure long-term account value and growth.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of business opportunities to ensure consistent growth and revenue.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Event Planning: Coordinate and execute events and site tours to build relationships and showcase our company's capabilities.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on business performance and progress towards goals.
- Negotiation: Develop and negotiate contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Project Management: Lead and manage project teams to deliver successful proposals and business outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or business development role.
- Proven track record of delivering sales success results.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications.
- Ability to travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
